We are still unsure of the exact status of the LifeStyles Skyn Condoms. These new non-latex condoms are made of Polyisoprene which contains no latex allergens and promises to provide the strength of Premium Latex while maintaining the sensitivity of a super sensitive condom. These are going to be a hot product because unlike other non-latex condoms, the Skyn condom will be flexible and stretchy.

Also of importance is the attractive price point of these condoms which will be about 50% cheaper than non-latex polyurethane condoms.

The problem is that the three major condom distributors (Condomania, Condom Depot, PMG) have been unable to get the first shipments in From LifeStyles. Not sure of the exact reason for the condom shortage, however it looks like the issue has to do with FDA approval.

Update On Lifestyles Skyn (AKA Lifestyles Skin Condoms) - Update 10-30-08

The Lifestyles Skyn Condom is not readily available at our store. Upon first inspection, we have come to a couple of great points and Pros of this new condom and its new technology…

1.) These condoms do feel like a second Skin.  We have yet to obtain exact dimensions on this condom however after using it for the first time, I would have to give it an A+ in terms of its sensitivity. It seems to be thicker than most condoms but does have great sensitivity.

2.) Unlike other Non Latex Condoms, the Lifestyles Skyn (AKA Lifestyles Skin Condom) is flexible and can bee stretched. Normal non-latex condoms are made of Polyurethane which goes not stretch. The Skyn condom is very stretchy and will allow larger men to use these condoms where the Trojan Supra did not work.

3.) Low Odor. These condoms have little to no smell.

4.) No crinkling, plastic noise. Anyone that has used a “Polyurethane Condom”  knows what I mean here. The Skyn being made from Polyisoprene, does not have that awful sound because the condom is stretchy and not a one size fits some condom like the Trojan Supra.

All in all this is a product I would definitely use again in the future. Can’t say it’s my favorite but for those that are allergic to latex, this is a sure fire winner.
